Surrogacy

Gestational Surrogacy is a two-step process.  First step is entering into a gestational surrogacy contract, and Second step is a court proceeding to legally establish your parentage.

We handle all aspects of the process, providing the following services to our Gestational Surrogacy clients:

Intended Parents:

• Drafting the gestational surrogacy contract and related documents
• Advising you of your rights and responsibilities under the surrogacy contract
• Negotiating the terms of the contract on your behalf
• Preparing necessary letters or affidavits for physicians and other professionals involved in the surrogacy process
• Drafting and filing court documents to have your names placed on the birth certificate
• Communicating with hospital staff and social workers to make sure that you are treated as the parents of the baby at the time of the baby’s birth and while the baby is in the hospital
• Obtaining a pre-birth order that states your rights as the intended parents before your baby is born
• Obtaining a post-birth judgment affirming your parentage of the baby
• Referring you to an entity that manages escrow, if necessary
• Referring you to Surrogacy Agencies and other professionals, if needed
• Obtaining the baby’s birth certificate
• If you are from a country other than the U.S., coordinating with an attorney in your home country, if needed

Gestational Surrogates:

• Reviewing the gestational surrogacy contract and related documents
• Advising you of your rights and responsibilities under the surrogacy contract and responding to your questions
• Negotiating the terms of the contract on your behalf
